Coming to Jesus is not suppose to be an experimental thing to make your life better. We need Jesus to avoid God's wrath and judgement. If you have ever lied, stolen, looked at someone with sexual intentions, spoke God's Name in vain, or hated someone, you are a breaker of the Ten Commandments. The punishment for that is condemnation to Hell. (See John3:18)
Hell is described as the second death, eternal fire. A burning that will never end or be quenched, you will wish for a drink of water but never be relieved. You will look upon all the people who made it to Heaven, not having a chance to go because you didn't make it right with God while you had a chance.
REPENT, you have sinned against God and Him only. But, there is hope. Jesus paid the price for your forgiveness when He died on the cross as a sacrifice. They laid Jesus in a tomb, but on the third day God raised Him from the dead, justifying us by His resurrection. Jesus became a "Substitute" He stood in our place for the punishment we deserve. I say we because I also deserve this punishment, I have also broken Gods Law.
If you are truly sorry that you have sinned against God, right now come to God and say "God, I ask that you forgive me, I have sinned against you and you only, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. Lead me and guide me to what I need to do next, I want to live my life for You and I ask that You come into my heart! In Jesus Name amen!
